As we enter Week 5 of the High School Football season teams are trying to find their identity before the start of district play, well except for Class 1-6A as they began district play Thursday night.

In the marquee match ups to look out for , the Eastlake Falcons (4-0) head to The Fort at Trooper Stadium to face a Eastwood Troopers (3-1) that are looking to make a run in 2026.

The Troopers are lead by RB Matt Ramirez who is averaging 152.8 yards per game with 10 TD’s. And on the Defensive side Linebacker Zacary Adams is averaging 11.3 tackles per game.

For the Falcons QB Julian Williams is ranked 30th in the nation ( MaxPreps) in total yards with 1768 yds. and #1 in the State of Texas with 1554 Passing Yards. tack on 19 passing TD and 214 yards rushing with 3 td/s .

Expect this game to be an epic battle early in the season for a shot of the District Crown.
