NM State Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
The Aggies will play nine home contests, including Big 12 opponent Arizona State.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The wait is over. The Aggies are back in action this fall, preparing to enter their fourth season in Conference USA.
Ahead of the official start to the season, NM State will play host to Grand Canyon in an exhibition contest on Friday, August 7.
The Aggies’ season opener will be a matchup with Big XII opponent Arizona State on Wednesday, Aug. 12. This marks the second time the Sun Devils will visit Las Cruces
(2023).
Back-to-back road games follow the opening contest, as NM State travels to Tucson, Ariz., and Abilene, Texas, for matchups with the University of Arizona (Aug. 16) and Abilene Christian (Aug. 20). Last season, the Aggies notched a win over ACU in Las Cruces.
For the second consecutive season, the Crimson & White will play Long Beach, with this year’s contest taking place in Las Cruces on Sunday, Aug. 23.
After a matchup with USC (Aug. 27), the Aggies will travel across the Pacific Ocean to compete at theOUTRIGGER No Ka Oi, a tournament hosted by the University of Hawaii. NM State will play matches against Hawaii (Sept. 3) and Utah Valley (Sept. 5).
Returning to the mainland, the Aggies will close nonconference competition with a trio of home matches against rivals New Mexico (Sept. 12) and UTEP (Sept. 17), culminating in a Senior Day contest against Northern Arizona (Sept. 20).
Conference play begins Sept. 27, as NM State hosts FIU. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2024.
October presents as the busiest month for the Crimson & White, with seven games in total . Following a road match against Kennesaw State (Oct. 1), the Aggies play host to Liberty (Oct. 4) for the second straight year.
The Aggies head to Huntsville for a contest against Sam Houston on Oct. 11, and will then meet Missouri State on the pitch for the first time in program history.
A pair of road contests against Middle Tennessee (Oct. 22) and Western Kentucky (Oct. 25) lead into the regular season finale, a home matchup with Jacksonville State on Halloween (Oct. 31).
The 2026 Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship will be hosted by the University of Delaware, held Nov. 8-13 in Newark, Del.

Dailan Goodman Named CUSA Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship Recipient
Goodman one of 10 awarded in conference.
DALLAS – Friday afternoon, it was announced that 10 student-athletes across Conference USA were honored as Jim Castañeda Postgraduate Scholarship recipients. NM State is represented by football player Dailan Goodman, who earned his degree in Chemistry this spring.
This marks the 18th year the award has been named after Dr. Jim Castañeda, who served Rice for 46 years as an educator, coach and Faculty Athletics Representative before he passed in 2008. Every season, CUSA grants a $4,000 scholarship to distinguished graduates selected by the league’s Faculty Athletics Representatives and approved by the Conference USA Board of Directors.
Goodman, a native of Tucson, Ariz., concluded his three-year career with the Aggies this past season. As a running back, Goodman appeared in 16 games and contributed primarily on special teams.
In the classroom, he earned his degree in chemistry with an emphasis in pre-health. His 4.0 GPA earned him many honors including CUSA Commissioners Honor Roll and Hadley Honor Roll Scholarship. Goodman was accepted and will attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Carisma Lynn Joins as Director of Basketball Operations
Lynn adds to the NM State staff following stint at Winthrop.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Head Coach Adeniyi Amadou has announced another new hire to his inaugural coaching staff in Las Cruces, with the addition of Director of Basketball Operations Carisma Lynn. Lynn joins the Aggies following stints at Winthrop University and the University of Miami, as well as work with the Unrivaled League and Klutch Sports.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the New Mexico State Women’s Basketball program”, said Lynn. “I would like to thank Coach Amadou and the athletics administration for their trust in me. I’m excited to be part of a program that values excellence, hard work, and the development of student-athletes both on and off the court.
I look forward to supporting our coaches and student-athletes, building meaningful relationships, and helping create a championship-caliber experience that reflects the values and standards of New Mexico State Women’s Basketball.”
While at Winthrop, Lynn worked as the Director of Basketball Operations, handling the day-to-day operations for coaches and staff, coordinating budgets, meals and travel, while working as the primary liaison between the team and administration.
On the court, the Eagles amassed 15 wins, making a run to the Big South Championship semifinals.
“Carisma has just started to work here in Las Cruces, and she has already been great for our program” added Head Coach Adeniyi Amadou, “She has been great by virtue of her ability to quickly settle into her professional role and settle into it to the utmost.”
I have no doubt that, in time, her impact on our program will be inestimable because she operates far outside the standard duties of a Director of Basketball Operations.
She moves with the attitude that ‘No job is too small;’ and her commitment to serving those around her, as well as her organization skills, will be instrumental in helping guide our student athletes and our program to operate at a high level.”
Ahead of her stint in Rock Hill, Lynn served as the Mist Basketball Club Coordinator, a member of the 3×3 basketball league Unrivaled in Medley, Fla., where she acted as the primary liaison between players, coaching staff, and administrative personnel. She managed scheduling and logistics for practices, games, and team events, coordinated ticket distribution, and oversaw equipment organization and facility setup to ensure efficient daily operations.
Prior to that role, Lynn was the Operations Graduate Assistant with the University of Miami Track & Field/Cross Country from 2023-24. In that position, she assisted with budget tracking and expense reconciliation, supported recruitment activities and campus visits, and coordinated travel logistics for competitions. She also provided administrative support for day-to-day departmental needs, including scheduling and communications. That season, the Hurricanes produced six First Team All-Americans across the men’s and women’s programs.
Lynn gained agency-level experience with Klutch Sports Group as an NFL Intern in the summer of 2023, where she contributed to athlete representation research, professional scheduling coordination, and event planning. She also created a season-long travel calendar to support client management during the NFL season.
Her background in digital media includes work as a Social Media Intern for WSLAM in New York City from 2021-22, producing live game updates, creating content across multiple platforms, and contributing to social media strategy focused on women’s basketball storytelling and engagement.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from North Carolina State University in 2023 and completed her Master of Science in Education in Sport Administration at the University of Miami in 2024.
