We are proud to announce the El Paso Coaches Association is in current collaboration with Wayne Thornton to provide a yearly scholarship to two deserving young all-district athletes.
Applications will be submitted via your campus rep and winners will be announced at our End of Year Banquet.
We’d like to thank all of the donors who made this scholarship possible and continue to work with community partners who believe in the vision Mr. Thornton has for a better future and philanthropic work.
Scholarship Overview: This scholarship aims to recognize and support high school student-athletes who exemplify the core values of community service, academic excellence, and good character.
Award recipients will be selected based on their commitment to their sport, dedication to maintaining a high GPA, active involvement in community service, and demonstration of leadership, integrity, and respect.
Only applicants from campuses/programs who are in good standing with EPCA membership will be considered.
Applicants must be a senior who is an All-district athlete for the current school year.
